Miley Cyrus
Slowly but surely, Miley Cyrus cut off her luscious locks for a wild and grown up look. What was once a white blonde bob, turned pixie cut, turned pompadour, is now merely but a buzz cut. Are you daring enough to shave it all off? We love Miley's short 'do and her confidence. Girl power!
Anne Hathaway
Once upon a time, Anne Hathaway played a pretty princess. She then took on the role of the girl next door turned fashionista, and even became a mystical queen! From the start of her career, Anne was known for her charming, contagious smile, her beautiful, prominent features and her rich chocolate tendrils. For her most recent, and more serious role as the hauntingly broken Fantine in Les Miserables, a brave Anne Hathaway chopped off nearly every inch of her hair. The best part of Anne's creative risk? She is more stunning than ever with her chic short style! If you are feeling bold enough for a short cut, but want something more feminine than the Miley-buzz, then Anne's look is for you!
Julianne Hough
Bobs are always in style — the trick is keeping them modern. Julianne Hough's easy, breezy style is a great look for all women of all ages. You know you have a good haircut when you can toss some product in, mess it up and look stunning on the red carpet!
Carly Rae Jepsen
Hey I just met you, and this is crazy, but I love your bangs, and I want some (maybe?)! Celeb bangs come and go, but no bangs have been more memorable over the past year than Carly Rae Jepsen's. This girl has created a signature look that is the envy of all teenyboppers and adults alike. Blunt bangs are the perfect way to make a bold change without stepping too far out of your comfort zone.

Julianne Hough is back on Dancing With the Stars
Julianne Hough is coming back to Dancing With the Stars again to join the judges' panel on Monday night.
The professional dancer-turned-actress will sit with Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli at the judges' panel, once more returning to the show that made her a star, People magazine reported.
Brooks Laich dishes on "sweetheart" Julianne Hough >>
"I'm very excited. It's my home away from home," Hough said. "This season everybody is so great. We're in the fourth week and everybody is really intriguing."
While being a judge is very different than actually dancing on the popular dance competition, the two-time DWTS winner admitted that she is just as nervous critiquing as she was competing. "You go in trying to give constructive criticism, but when the nerves get to you, you sometimes put your foot in your mouth, which I have done in the past." Hough went on. "So, this is my do-over."
Hough famously hit a nerve when she judged fellow dancer Mark Ballas and then-partner Christina Milian last season. She told Milian to watch out for Ballas, who can sometimes take over the spotlight. Hough meant the comment as a joke to tease Ballas for always being a showman, but he was not too pleased with Hough's remarks.
"I don't really get surprised by the judges' comments," Ballas told the press after the show. "The one comment that was a little funny was that I make [the dance] all about me — but all the critiques were at me, not Christina."
The Safe Haven star later addressed her critique, admitting she may have been a bit too direct.
Julianne Hough reveals shocking childhood abuse >>
"I didn't mean for it to come out harsh," Hough said. "I could have probably said it a little differently." She also added that Ballas has been a pal since the two were kids and later that evening they even went to dinner together. "That's what's so hilarious about it."
Additionally, Hough recently reiterated how hard it is to be on the competitor's side of the floor and can definitely sympathize with all the dancers.
"I've been on that floor and I know how it feels," Hough added. "The adrenaline... rush and all the hard work that's put into it throughout the week."
Celebrity trendspotting at the Coachella Music Festival
Everyone knows that style-scoping is as much (if not more) important than catching the actual bands at the Coachella Music Festival.
Festival-goers spend weeks deciding on the prefect duds that will embody their eclectic mix of up-to-the-minute trendiness and laid-back hipster aloofness.
It's not an easy style to nail, and no one does it better than the celebrities. This year we got inside access at all of the weekend's hottest parties to bring you the top celebrity styles seen at Coachella.
Fedoras & denim
Katy Perry was captured in a very random embrace with Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, wearing an adorable pink straw fedora at the Lacoste Beautiful Desert Pool Party on Saturday.
The singer offset her demure hat with trendsetting cat-eyed sunnies and bright green hair.
Also rocking the classically cool headgear was actress Julianne Hough, who went a more chill route with a soft pink tie-dyed tank top and long denim shorts.
We must say it was refreshing to see Hough choosing not to embrace the whole “denim-underwear” trend that's so widely accepted at the festival.
Actress Jenna Malone went one step further, mixing the two popular trends (denim and fedoras) with one more recent runway favorite: tartan. While this would usually be pushing it as far as style-stuffing goes, we think she pulled it off nicely.
Another gal who opted for a grown-up denim look was style star Louise Roe, who paired her frayed blue jean shorts with a button-up denim shirt at Kari Feinstein's Music Festival Style Lounge over at the La Quinta Resort in Indio.
Roe was rocking “just rolled out of bed” waves with a pair of cool bright blue slip-ons. Very concert chic.
The most understated look of the day went to Emma Roberts, who paired an un-frayed, cuffed and appropriate-length pair of denim shorts with a preppy tank top polo. Her Aunt Julia would be proud.
Leather
Staying warm was many celebs' main priority as the temps in the desert dropped each evening.
Celebrities like Carmen Electra and Kelly Osbourne were both snapped wearing full-on leather jackets to face the cold at the Neon Carnival with Guess, presented by Nylon and Olay Fresh Effects.
While Osbourne opted for basic black, Electra embraced the event's name in a bright blue jacket. For further armor she wore a hoodie underneath and black biker gloves.
Funky accessories
Another day, another funky outfit for Katy Perry.
Perry was spotted wearing some eye-popping accessories with friend DJ Mia Moretti.
Back at day two of the Lacoste party, Keeping Up With the Kardashians' Kendall Jenner shocked us with a large gold hoop nose ring, attached to her ear.
Paired with a turban and flower-framed sunglasses, this look was far from the innocent image of Kendall's early days.
But the craziest accessories of the weekend were seen on Lady Victoria Hervey. The U.K. model and pal of Lindsay Lohan decided to wear a pink unicorn backpack and multicolored knee-high fur boots to the Neon Carnival.
This choice was a little surprising from the usually stylish socialite. Hey, at least she was warm.

Julianne Hough on Ryan Seacrest: "Nothing was right"
Julianne Hough and Ryan Seacrest always seemed like such a cute couple, but if you ever felt like something was not quite right — you were right. Hough is finally opening up about the relationship and why she had to end it when she did.
Brooks Laich confirms Julianne Hough is his sweetheart >>
"Every relationship, there was nothing wrong or bad, but there was nothing right. I had one foot out because I didn't want to get hurt," Hough told Redbook in a new interview. "And I didn't say what was on my mind because I didn't want to ruffle any feathers. I needed to be perfect. Now I'm not holding anything back because I'd rather get my heart broken than never know what it is to be completely, madly in love. If I had been this open in my last relationship, who knows?"
After Hough and Seacrest had broken up, she decided to stay single for a while. It wasn't until eight months later that she decided she was ready to date again.
"I had this epiphany when my family went to a six-day seminar about creating your own destiny," Hough explained, according to E! News. "I was not into it at first, but I learned so much about myself and why my relationships didn't work that by the end I was on a high."
The singer said the seminar helped her in her next relationship with Washington Nationals hockey player Brooks Laich, which came sooner than she expected. She said, "The next day my Curve co-star introduced [Brooks and me]," she said of Laich. "It couldn't have been a better time. We've been open and honest from day one."

The former DWTS dancer also said she has worked to strengthen her female relationships as well, including with friend Diablo Cody.
"She might be a bada**, but she's also the biggest softie," Hough said. "I think that's why we bonded, because we both felt like we have to [seem] tough. Today, girls have to be strong and powerful. I'm a feminist; I believe that we should all be equal. But there's a difference between finding power in being feminine and putting on a fake masculine front."
Julianne Hough has a genius way to wear a grown-out pixie
Braids, updos and the like are all a bit challenging to create, after all, when your hair is short. But Julianne Hough has shown us an easy yet adorable way to style your growing-out pixie to resemble a complex updo.
We got Moroccanoil’s Artistic Director Antonio Corral Calero to share his tips for recreating Julianne's braided 'do in a few simple steps. You're welcome!
Get the look
- For the perfect foundation, apply the Moroccanoil Treatment on damp hair. It is the perfect foundation for smooth, frizz-free style. It also makes hair easier to manage for creating the edgy pieces in the front.
- To add texture, apply the Moroccanoil Root Boost directly on the root. This will create lift and body at the top, essential for achieving Julianne’s style.
- Create a deep part on the right side. Blow dry hair with a small 25 mm Boar Bristle Round Brush, brushing hair toward the back of the head.
- Create a very loose crown braid, starting on the right side (going toward left). Secure with a bobby pin.
- Using the new Moroccanoil Molding Cream gently add extra texture and pull out pieces with fingertips. The Molding Cream will help create the piecey texture and added messiness with long-lasting hold and a shiny, frizz-free, edgy style.
- Tame flyaways and secure the style with a fine mist of the Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray.

Julianne Hough is headed back to DWTS
While the deal hasn't been finalized, the gossip site's sources confirmed that Hough would be the fourth judge on the panel. It's a newly created position alongside veteran judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli.
Dancing With the Stars Season 19 cast announced — who's in? >>
The Safe Haven star left the ballroom competition show back in 2009 to pursue a music and singing career. It's been bumpy road ever since with box office disappointments like Rock of Ages and Burlesque.
The new gig would be the perfect way to stay in the spotlight without giving up her acting career. Hough is also riding high after a sold-out summer dance tour called MOVE Live with her brother and DWTS pro Derek Hough.
The move made by new producer Rob Wade isn't without controversy, though. Julianne has made some inflammatory comments to pros Mark Ballas and Maks Chmerkovskiy during two previous guest-judging stints. In addition, Chmerkovskiy has been pretty vocal about wanting to join the judging panel after he decided to leave the show as a dancer.

Fans are equally divided over the reported news. Some fans are excited to see Hough back on the show while others think the series will now favor the Hough siblings too much.

Julianne Hough's reps haven't confirmed the news publicly, but it's starting to be a buzzworthy season for the longtime ABC series.
UPDATE Aug. 21, 2014: Hough confirmed her new role as a judge to People. "My role is to encourage and be supportive, and to also be candid and honest and try not to beat around the bush, to be too politically correct," Hough told the mag. "I want to give critiques so they can improve. I'm not there to be harsh or cause a controversy. I won't be mean or malicious. That's not who I am. That's not my role at all."
